But at some point, you want to learn how to mod State of Decay 2. And trust me, there is a wealth of State of Decay 2 mods to enjoy right this moment! First and foremost, before you can download ten or twenty mods for a new playthrough, you need to know where to find said mods.
So, enjoy a guilt-free, highly-overpowered community with stats and weapons of your choosing! Do you want to roleplay in State of Decay 2? Do you want the perfect community for a day challenge run? The Community Editor allows you to carefully craft survivors to your liking. You can choose their name, nickname, model, outfit, voice, hero bonus, leader type, and so much more.
A big part of the gameplay loop in State of Decay 2 revolves around making tough decisions, like what loot to leave behind and what to bring home. But with the Vehicle Inventory Expansion mod, which increases vehicle storage space to slots, you no longer have to pick and choose. You can effectively clear an entire small town and never return to base. Unlocking the Developer Menu proves simple when you download this mod, which allows you to control State of Decay 2 like the development team.
Seriously, you can spawn and alter literally anything in the game. You get to control weapon spawns, radio commands, spawn zombie hordes to slaughter, add new followers, create enclaves, and so much more.
The options here are seemingly limitless to enhance or destroy your game. To keep things fresh, Undead Labs rotates bounties out every so often. It gives you a reason to come back and grind out kills or loot. But if you simply want to enjoy the bevy of weapons added to the game, the Unlock All Hidden Bounties mod has you covered!
You can scroll down to find more weapons, and scroll sideways to sift through the various bounties. A much-requested feature, addressed in the Homecoming patch , was to increase stack sizes. Developer Undead Labs agreed, and we wound up with larger stacks of ammunition. But if you want more, bigger stacks of everything, then the Stacks of Items mod should be on your radar.

Most files on The Nexus comes in rar format that you need to unpack with a software like Winrar. After unpacking all the folder and files that were in the rar and put them in the folder named Game in your State of Decay folder.
Originally posted by Gamevsreality :. Brah, all SoD game files are folders with files packed into archives. The mods you download must be placed in a folder that file would be in if you unpack game files. Every mod page should specify where exactly to put it. Originally posted by KatArus :. No one helped and you got banned? Maybe its got something to do with your assitude? Dont you have this folder? Last edited by gax ; 19 Oct, am. Kismette View Profile View Posts. But I'm glad I was of some help at the end. In a nutshell, many mods have to create folders which get added to the "Game" folder in your game installation.
Other mods add or change files in folders that already exist. In your case, a Characters folder already exists. So the mod adds stuff to the games Characters folder.
Most of the time modders will create a directory starting with Game folder so that all you have to do is "merge" the folder into your install.
